men are more equal
a woman's house is never her own. it is either her father's, her brother's, or her husband's. If she wants her own house she has to get one and pay for it, only then she can have her way. a man will climb on the social ladder by stepping on the wife's shoulder but he will not let her be the man of the house. so easily men invite friends and family over without even bothering to know if it is ok with the wife.does she have some plans of her own or whether she is up to it. it is considered a part of her duties regardless of anything else. if some relative comes over 'from the other side' the woman should always be available and its ok if the man cannot make it. even if a woman is working she has to stay at home because ' ek din office nahi jayegi to kya ho jayega'. but the man oh! how can he not go to work. he is the earning member of the family. its besides the point how important or not his work is. men have an easy way of escaping out of a situation. ' have to go to office, something urgent to do'.... no questions asked. 'have to go to this friends place, he is leaving tomm".... no questions asked. the woman has to be home on time after work otherwise who will cook, who will make the kids do their homework, or take them to the garden, or just be with them. a father will give his kids time only if he has it, but a mother has to give her kids all the time she has. a woman has to be a wife, a daughter-in-law, a mother, a sister, a daughter. a man has to be just a man.

Good blog, just the other day, i asked my wife if she ever thought of being born a male? I just hope the norms of the society change before my little ones get married....
spot on. i think wives should stop taking it, rather than hoping men will stop expecting.
